About

‘You can never get a cup of tea large enough or a book long enough to suit me…’

-C.S Lewis

Hi, I’m Chloe.

I’ve always loved reading – most of my childhood memories are me snuggled up with a book and ignoring anyone who tried to interrupt me. I’m also passionate about writing. Reading stories created by talented authors have inspired me to create my own, my first written when I was nine years old. I’m currently writing my first novel and it’s taken me just over a year so far – and that’s just my first draft!

There are three things I want to do with my life…

  1. Write beautiful words and compelling stories
  2. Make a difference somewhere in this world, even if it only affects one person
  3. Visit at least one bookshop in every country

I’m inspired by a range of genres and authors, snippets of overheard conversations, unexplored settings, significant historical events, textures, colours and people who inspire me.

The general stuff

I am currently situated in the Forest Of Dean, Gloucestershire, the perfect place to be if you need constant writing inspiration. In 2018, I graduated from Bath Spa University with an English Literature and Creative Writing degree. Since then, I have helped redesign and manage a website for an established interior design company, ran their social media, edited novels, and worked as a beta reader. Now, I’m currently working as a Content Marketing Specialist for an SEO company.

Work With Me

I’m currently working on expanding my portfolio, develop my skills, and try new things.
So far, I have written content for various platforms, managed social platforms, edited novels, and recently started work as a beta reader.

I would love to improve my writing, editing, and publishing skills.

If you’re working on a writing project right now, I’d love to help. If you’d like to get in touch, see here, or take a look at my portfolio or Linkedin.

Thank you for visiting!
